Magic Science Club - Junior/Cadette (Virtual)

During this workshop, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts will follow along and conduct four rainbow-colored science experiments. Girl Scouts will use supplies at home to complete the experiments together. By completing the workshop, Girl Scouts will earn our fun patch!

Girl Scouts will join an experienced science teacher to learn and do science experiments! Join us for this exciting NEW STEM workshop!

Junior Girl Scouts will earn the Junior STEM Career Exploration badge and Cadette Girl Scouts will earn the Cadette STEM Career Exploration badge.

Experiments Include:

**Marker Chromatography -**Girl Scouts will conduct an experiment to separate the components of a mixture. The experiment will be conducted using markers, scissors, a coffee filter, a cup, and water.

Magic Milk- Girl Scouts will create art out of a science experiment! The experiment will be conducted using a plate, a bowl, milk, cotton swabs, food coloring, and soap.

**Candy Art -**Girl Scouts will get creative with candy! This experiment will be conducted using a plate, water, and a bag of Skittles.

**Chromatography Butterfly -**Girl Scouts will separate colors to create shapes! This experiment involves water, markers, a coffee filter, a glue stick, a pipe cleaner, google eyes, and a popsicle stick.

This workshop will be held live using Zoom. Following registration, Girl Scouts will receive a link to access the live workshop.
