Volunteers –the backbone of the movement

Membership as a Girl Scout adult is granted to any person over the age of 18, who accepts the organization's principles and beliefs as stated in the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and has paid the annual membership dues of $12.

Girl Scouts value diversity and inclusiveness. Every volunteer and staff position in Girl Scouting is open to qualified women, as well as men.

Family members of Girl Scouts, as well as community friends, are encouraged to show their support of our organization and its mission by becoming a registered member of our council, especially if they occasionally attend meetings and events. All registered adult members receive:

• Invitations to council community events
• Membership card from Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.

Alumnae

We will be celebrating our 98th Anniversary on March 12, 2010! It's time now to reconnect with other members. We need former Girl Scout leaders, members, trainers, and previous board, committee, and staff members to build their connection with our Girl Scout program and constituencies. Alumnae can help "grow the organization," and share their experience, commitment, talent, time, and financial support. You can be vital builders of the future.
