Media Tours
Open to Girl Scouts in grades 2–12
Have you ever wondered what goes on at a radio station besides playing the music? How do the newscasters on television know what to say? Who makes them look and sound the way they do? What goes into producing a newspaper? Here's a chance to see the people behind the scenes and what they do! We have arranged for a number of tours of radio and television stations and newspaper facilities. The tours take place throughout the summer starting in June and continuing through August at a variety of locations throughout our council area. Registration is required! There is limited space available in some of the tours; registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Participant Fee: free
