Year-round Facilities
 

The Lodge

Sleeps 25 overnight; 100 for day use. The lodge is the camp's dining hall with wood stove and fireplace. A kitchen is heated and has gas stove/grill, refrigerator.  Bathroom is in lodge.  There is electricity and hot/cold running water.


Nature Center

Sleeps 30 people overnight; 50 for day use. Large building with a fireplace, pit latrines, electricity and furnance.

 

Seasonal Facilities

 

Chipmunk and Beaver Bend A-Frame Unit

Sleeps 24 overnight; 35 for day use. There are six wooden A-frame tents in the unit. There is a firecircle and latrines. Running water seasonally.

 

Tamarack Unit

Platform tent unit that sleeps 16 overnight; 30 people for day use.  Two fire areas, pit latrine and seasonal running water.

 

The Yurt

Use as our outdoor educational center.  There are lab tables and science equipment. Solar power lighting. Seasonal cold water and outside tap.

 
 
Features

There are 200 acres of hills and rocky, wooded terrain.

Activities

Activities include swimming, rowboats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, nature study, hiking and a challenge course.
