Girl Scout Bronze Award

Girl Scout Juniors in grades 4 and 5 working on their Bronze Award will submit paperwork to their troop/group volunteer for approval. Each girl must submit the Bronze Award Final Summary Form to council after completion of the award as well. When filling in the Summary Form, be sure to use all five digits of your troop number. The Leader's e-mail address is required as well. There is a roughly one week turn-around time between when paperwork is submitted and when pins can be purchased. Leaders will be notified about how to purchase the pins. The troop is responsible for purchasing a Bronze Award pin for each girl that earns the Bronze Award.

Here are the forms you will need

Where to Direct Questions and Submit Paperwork

If after reviewing the Girl Guidelines, you have additional questions, please feel free to contact an award consultant. (See the list at the bottom of this page.) The award consultants are available to meet with a group of girls and walk them through the award process. To schedule a time to meet with an award consultant, please contact them directly at least one month prior to when you would like them to meet with you. If there is no consultant listed for your county, please send an e-mail to our GSLE Program Manager or call her at 315.698.9400 x2038.

Final Summary reports can be scanned and submitted as attachments to an e-mail message to our GSLE Program Manager (don't forget to attach the documents) or they can be sent via standard mail to the following address:

Money Earning Policy

Sometimes award projects require funds for materials and other aspects of the project beyond what is available in the troop treasury. There are specific restrictions and guidelines that troops must follow for raising funds. Please review and carefully follow the Money Earning Policy for Troops in the list below. The Money Earning Activity Request must be submitted in time to be approved at least three weeks before the activity takes place.

Planning an Award Ceremony
