Earth Day Party in the Park

Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12, adults, and non-registered girls
Join in a community-wide Take Action Project! In honor of Earth Day, help clean up the parks and the Mohawk River Trail in the city of Rome, NY. Meet at Franklin Field where you will be assigned one of the parks or trails to work in. Return later to Franklin Field for a pizza party in celebration of the work we have accomplished. The event fee covers the cost of the pizza plus all participants will receive an Earth Day patch. This is a great Take Action Project for the “It's Your Planet—Love It” journeys at all levels.

Participant Fee: $5 per girl Tell a Friend envelope icon
Minimum # of participants: 10 girls; 5 adults
Maximum # of participants: 200 girls; 50 adults

Registration Deadline: Friday, April 18, 2014.
