Horse Fan Patch

Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12
This program begins with a safety discussion and barn tour to meet the horses. Participants will be split into two groups to learn how to groom and tack a horse. After grooming and tacking are complete, you'll take a ride around the arena to get some saddle time! The daily chores and routines of owning a horse and horse health care will also be covered during the program. Participants will receive the Horse Fan patch. The patch is included in the program fee and will be mailed to you after the program.
Adults within ratio required. A first aider is provided.

Participant Fee: $27 per girl; adults within ratio free Tell a Friend envelope icon
Minimum # of participants: 15 girls; 2 adults
Maximum # of participants: 40 girls; 10 adults
