Open to Girl Scouts in grades 4–12, adults, and non-registered girls
Girls and boys in fourth through twelfth grades from scouts and other local youth groups will build their own shelters for the night. They will learn about hunger and homelessness in Cayuga County from those involved in agencies and organizations which support people in these situations. Local community leaders will speak about homelessness and hunger and participants will complete activities focusing around the issues. Youth will participate in an Oxfam Hunger Banquet breakfast. Trusted and trained adult volunteer leaders will participate in the activities and provide supervision for the evening. View the event flier.

Participant Fee: $5 per girl; $5 per adult
Minimum # of participants: 45 girls; 6 adults
Maximum # of participants: 200 girls; 50 adults

Registration Deadline: Friday, April 18, 2014.
