Open to Girl Scouts in grades 4-12, adults, and non-registered girls
Girl Scouts and students from other local youth groups will learn about hunger and homelessness in our area as they build their own shelter for the night! Local community leaders will speak about homelessness and hunger and participants will complete activities focusing around these issues. The event will end in the morning with an Oxfam Hunger Banquet breakfast. In addition to the $5 particpiant fee, participants should also bring a personal care item, non-perishable food item or clothing donation to help out one of the assisting organizations. New this year will be a chance to elevate your "life" status by earning points. More details will be included in the confirmation packet when you register! Trusted and trained adult volunteer leaders will participate in the activities and provide supervision for the evening.
Adults within ratio required. A first aider is provided.

Participant Fee: $5 per girl; $5 per adult
Minimum # of participants: 50 girls; 10 adults
Maximum # of participants: 150 girls; 50 adults

Registration Deadline: Friday, April 24, 2015.
