Girl Scouts Forever Green (GSFG), Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary Take Action Project, is an ongoing national effort of girls leading their families, schools, and communities in improving the environment and protecting natural resources. GSFG invites girls to Take Action on three month-long projects: Reduce Plastic Waste, Earth Hour, and Rain Gardens. Participants are also encouraged to take an Online Pledge stating their commitment to GSFG efforts.
You can print pledge cards to be used in your community. (Print front and back and cut!) Be sure to collect them and turn them in to the council! (Karen Lubecki, GSNYPENN, 5 Ellinwood Court, New Hartford, NY 131413.)
Log in to the GSFG site, choose your project, then log your totals in on the GSFG site. Your statistics will become part of the larger GSNYPENN stats, and the nation's!
