If you are a new troop or group leader, please contact your Community Development Manager about how to open a banking account for your troop/group's treasury. Opening a bank or credit union account under the auspices of Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways requires approval from council. Your Community Development Manager will collect information from you and will obtain the required letter of approval for you to take to the bank or credit union with you when you open the account. (It may take a day or more to obtain this letter. Don't wait until you are on your way to the bank to ask for it!)
In addition, banks/credit unions may require additional documentation about Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. The documents listed below may be opened and printed by banks and credit unions for that purpose.
