Each month throughout winter and spring, we’ll bring exciting, hands-on activities to your girls virtually and in-person—including:
- a weeklong exploration of women in outdoors careers
- outdoors-based Girl Scout Week and Earth Week activities
- a focus on STEM in the outdoors and Citizen Science
- another Great GSNYPENN Camp In Camp Out in June

Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge
May 20-September 12, 2021
Cost: Free (purchase your patch once completed)
Girls can take the national Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge! Based on your grade level, complete a select number of fun outdoor activities provided on the activity sheet to earn a national patch. The challenge ends with Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend on September 12.

Cost: $65 per girl, first 2 adults free, $20 per each additional adult
This camping experience is for Girl Scouts and troop leaders to enjoy a fun, community-based camping weekend. Girls and troop leaders will enjoy all the classic camp activities as camp staff facilitate programming, such as archery, waterfront, nature and more! Troops do not need to have First Aid or Simply Successful Camping training to attend. Masks and social distancing in effect. Registration opens April 19

In-person, paid events
Cost: $20 per person
Enjoy a weekend of family fun at Camp Trefoil! This program runs from 4 p.m. on Friday through 10 a.m. on Sunday. Activities include archery and slingshots, fishing, boating, swimming, arts and crafts, and candle making. Each family will receive an activity schedule upon check-in. Your family will also have down time to relax and enjoy the property. Masks and social distancing in effect.
Overnight on the Island
Hoover: Saturday-Sunday, July 17-18, 24-25 & 31-August 1 & August 7-8 & 21-22, 2021
In-person, paid events
Cost: $35 per person
Ready to put your camping skills to the test? After learning the basics and safety of paddling, we’ll head over to Hoover's private island for a night of primitive camping. We’ll sleep in tents, cook on a camp stove and will NOT have access to formal bathrooms. Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be provided. This is NOT a camping trip for beginners! All participants should have previous camping experience. (Masks and social distancing in effect.) Register now!
