Explore the Canadian territory of Quebec while participating in a variety of amazing winter activities that will give you the best experience of this Canadian territory.  We will depart from Syracuse Saturday morning and begin our stay at the Village Vacances Valcartier, where we will hit the slopes in tubes at the Winter Playground and swim inside at Bora Parc, the indoor water park.  This is also home to North America's only Ice Hotel, a lodging made entirely out of ice and snow, which we will be able to tour.  Following our stay at Village Vacances Valcartier, we will enjoy a stay at Hotel-Musee Premieres Nations, a unique hotel and museum dedicated to the indigenous Huron-Wendat people.  While here, we will have a guided tour of the museum and immersive experiences that include a demonstration at the Ekionkeistha National Longhouse and Onhwa Lumina, an outdoor trail that tells the story and traditions of the Huron-Wendat through lights, sound, and video.  During your stay here, we will enjoy meals at La Traite, a restaurant dedicated to modern presentation of authentic traditional cuisine of the indigenous people of the area.  From here we will travel to Old Quebec City where you will tour the historic Fairmont le Chateau de Frontenac and have the opportunity to explore more historic sites in the town, including the AU 1884, a 140-year old toboggan.  We will wrap up your trip by ice skating through the forest at Domaine Enchanteur and spending our final night at Parc Omega*, where we will sleep within the territory of wolf packs.  While here, we will also have a tour of the wildlife park as well as meals at Omega Bon.  We will return to Syracuse on Friday night, at which time scouts will be awarded a Travel Patch.

Most meals are provided.  Some meals while traveling or exploring Quebec City will be on your own.

This is a high-impact program.  Be prepared for rigorous activity and lots of walking.  Winter gear will be on the packing list.
