Calling all creators, actors, future news anchors and multimedia journalists, storytellers and any Girl Scout with a passion or interest in sharing their “Why Girl Scouts” moments! Join our council Media Team and help tell the world what Girl Scouting is all about — from your point of view!

What you’ll do:
- Represent us alongside staff in news interviews or at community events
- Be featured in videos, commercials or photo shoots
- Help share what Girl Scouting means to you—live, on camera or on stage

📸 Digital Creator
Love social media? Always snapping photos or making reels? Help create fun, inspiring content!
What you’ll do:
- Create posts, videos + stories for council social media
- "Take over” our accounts during events or special celebrations
- Show what being a Girl Scout is really like—through your eyes
🎯 In this role, you’ll learn social media strategy, creativity + responsible online storytelling!
✍️ Creative Writer
Got a way with words? Love sharing stories or writing about others? Help write + shape content that connects all GSNYPENN members!
What you’ll do:
- Write articles
- Create captions, features or short stories for social media
- Interview Girl Scouts, volunteers, alums or staff for spotlights
🎯 This role builds your writing, interviewing + digital communication skills!
🎬 Content Producer
Prefer being behind the camera or designing the look of things? Make our content come to life through visuals + graphic design!
What you’ll do:
- Take + edit photos or videos for council projects
- Design graphics, layouts or social posts using Canva or your own tools
- Work with other team members + Marketing staff to bring big ideas to life
