Diane Bootie
North Brookfield, N.Y.
Diane became a Girl Scout Volunteer 43 years ago when her daughter expressed a desire to join. At the time, there wasn't a local troop in their area, so Diane stepped up and became a troop leader herself. Since then, she has held various roles including troop leader, Service Unit Manager, recruiter, trainer and Product Program Coordinator.
Throughout the years, many have benefited greatly from her extensive knowledge, experience and unwavering dedication. Even after Diane’s granddaughter graduated, she continued volunteering her time to GSNYPENN, training and mentoring many volunteers as an adult facilitator.
Diane has been part of GSNYPENN's History & Archives Committee for many years, archiving and preserving our council’s history. She played an instrumental role in revamping our Honoring Our Heritage Patch Program, which is now available to all GSNYPENN troops. Visit gsnypenn.org/heritage to learn more!
Thank you, Diane, for your continued dedication to Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways!
