Supply List: CSA Think Like a Programmer Supply List
On this Journey, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will learn how to think like a computer programmer to solve problems. They’ll explore how computers work, look at the many problems computers can help us to solve, and design solutions for others using computational thinking.
You'll earn two awards on this Journey. The first one is called the "Think Like a Programmer" award. You earn that for learning how to solve problems like a programmer.
The second one is called the "Take Action" award. You earn that for creating a Take Action project that solves a problem and uses what you'll learn about computational thinking. Your Take Action project will make a sustainable difference in the world for others.
You'll use computational thinking to Take Action. You'll decide who you want to help, identify problems you might want to address, and then choose one problem you'd like to solve.
During the event Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will receive Take Action Google Slides to help them with the planning and completion of their Take Action Project for their journey.
