Girl Scouts will gather at the Elizabeth Cady Stanton home for the kickoff of their tour. A light breakfast will be served, after which Girl Scouts will be divided into small groups to tour the Stanton home.

At 9:30 a.m., the annual procession will begin. Girl Scouts will walk down Washington Street, Bayard Street, Ovid Street Bridge and Fall Street to the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, where they will be greeted, assigned a guide and given their passports.

Once there, Girl Scouts will tour the park’s Visitor Center and the Wesleyan Chapel. After completing these visits, they will receive a stamp in their passport and move on to the next sites.

Around noon, a boxed lunch will be provided, including a sandwich, a bag of chips and a beverage. After the entire tour is completed and all passports are stamped, Girl Scouts will conclude their day at the Girl Scouts office at Academy Square, where they will enjoy an ice cream cone from Sprinkle Starship. If a Girl Scout has collected all required stamps, she will receive a fun patch.

This program is free and is sponsored by the Women’s Institute for Leadership and Learning Inc. with support from Lake to Lake Women of New York State Women Inc.
