Supply List: Junior Agent of Change Journey Supply List
Girl Scouts discover how to use the “power of one” and the “power of team” to create the “power of community” that improves the world. During the Journey, you will begin to build the confidence to make changes to your community and learn the importance of working together with a team.
Discover the skills you have that make you a great leader and
how you relate it to the Girl Scout Law. You will earn three awards
during the journey.
POWER OF ONE AWARD – You will use
your own ‘power log’ to discover all the ways your strengths and
powers help you create change in the world, and discover qualities of
a leader.
POWER OF TEAM AWARD – You will make a team
decision and begin to brainstorm ideas for a Take Action Project. The
project will reach into a community network to solve a problem
together with community members.
POWER OF COMMUNITY
AWARD – You will take action on your plan, reach out, and inspire
others to get involved. After the project, you will reflect on what
you have accomplished and celebrate it.
Junior Girl Scouts will receive a link to the Take Action Google Slides at the end of the event to help them with the planning and completion of their take action project for this journey.
