Attention youth ages 5-17: You're invited!

Youth of all ages are invited to explore the magical world of books through the Girl Scout summer reading challenge!

Dive into exciting stories, unravel mysteries, and meet inspiring characters. With every page you turn, you'll be one step closer to completing the challenge and earning your summer reading patch and bookmark.

Get ready to read, discover, and shine!

From July 1 to Aug. 15, you can earn the Summer Stack Book Club fun patch by**:**

  • Registering for the Summer Stack Club.

  • Reading for at least:

    • 10 minutes per day (pre-K to first grade).

    • 15 minutes per day (second to fifth grade).

    • 20 minutes per day (sixth to 12th grade).

  • Reading at least two books written by girls or women.*

  • Reading at least two books with a girl or woman as the main character.*

  • Reading at least one book that falls under one of the Girl Scout four pillars: STEM, outdoor, life skills and entrepreneurship.*

If you need a suggested book list, your local librarian can help!

This program runs on the Girl Scout Honor System, meaning you don't have to report your progress to us. We trust that if you sign up, you'll complete all the requirements to earn your patch and bookmark.

Patches and bookmarks will be mailed in September.
