Exploring Stormwater Runoff from Roads and Bridges with GHD
Students will explore how stormwater runoff from roads and bridges can carry pollutants into nearby waterways during rainstorms. Through a hands-on demonstration, they will add different pollutants to a model system, observe how water quality is affected, and test ways to filter and clean runoff.
This free series for girls in 6th-8th grades brings female professionals from local companies to lead students in a fun, hands-on activity together to spark interest in high-tech careers.
Program includes FREE admission to the MOST (student and their family) and light snacks.
