Grab your backpack, lace up your sneakers and head out for an adventure during Girl Scouts Love State Parks (GSLSP) weekend!
Join us at Green Lakes State Park for educational programming, hands-on activities, games and a great time outdoors with council and park staff.
Earn this year's fun patch (included with event fee) and complete the first activity of the Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge 2026.
Park staff will provide programming for a variety of ages. Grab a self-guided scavenger hunt, learn about conservation efforts in the Education Center or join a ranger-led program.
Ranger-led programs are capped; choose a session during registration to reserve your spot:
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Secrets of the Lake Hike: Learn how the lakes were formed and what makes them so special on this insider hike.
- 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Animal Detectives: Join this exploration of animals that inhabit the park as you touch furs and skulls, create a craft and explore habitats during a guided hike.
You'll also have time to explore the park on your own! Enjoy the playground, fishing, hiking or check out the Nature Center.
