Treats, Reads & More Advice from a Top Seller

Becoming a top seller in our Treats, Reads & More (TRM) Program can be fun, simple and rewarding! Take it from a 2023 TRM top seller, Isabelle F., a Girl Scout Brownie from Little Falls, N.Y.
Isabelle loves participating in Girl Scouts and doing what she can to be successful. Last TRM season, she aimed high, and it worked in her favor. This season, she wants to share what motivates her and how to be successful with her fellow Girl Scouts!
The biggest piece of advice Isabelle has is, “Don’t stop, just keep going.” Even when it seems tough, she says that Girl Scouts should never give up and continue to maintain their Girl Scout spirit!
Like others who participate in TRM, Isabelle is always excited to see the cute rewards and experiences she can work towards. These keep her excited and eager to sell more products. Last season, she earned fun patches and an ocelot bracelet and necklace she still wears today! Isabelle even earned a trip to Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, N.Y., for more than $1,250 in total sales! Isabelle says it was so much fun for her and her family to go on rides and see different attractions there.
Isabelle also offered these additional words of wisdom:
- Use the TRM door hangers and online social media toolkit assets (with the help of a caregiver)
- Reach out to local businesses and friends
- Connect with your past cookie season customers
- Get to know your community
- Be confident
Getting to know your community is a major key to your success! If you feel nervous or uneasy, don’t worry; it’s normal. That is why Isabelle encourages all her Girl Scout sisters to work on their confidence. She says it will help you grow during TRM and as a Girl Scout in more ways than one.
