What is Veni. Vidi. Vici. (V3)? toggle arrow
Veni. Vidi. Vici. (also known as V3), is a giant lock-in for all Girl Scouts from Daisies to Ambassadors! Participants rotate through a variety of activities with their group. There’s something for everyone!
Where can I find the V3 event schedule? toggle arrow
As we get closer to V3, we'll share the schedule directly with registrants via email.
My Girl Scout is interested in attending V3 but can’t stay the night. Can we still register? toggle arrow
Yes! Girl Scouts have the option to leave when activities are over and can skip the overnight. They will not be permitted to reenter the building after signing out with their caregiver or troop leader. The cost of the program is the same for those who choose to leave early.
My Girl Scout is a Juliette/Individually Registered Member (IRM). Can she still attend V3? toggle arrow
Yes! Our Juliettes/IRMs are welcome to attend V3 and will be grouped with other IRMs or troops at the same program/age level.
I’d like to volunteer for V3. Do I still have to register? toggle arrow
Volunteers will be assigned a three-hour shift during the program and do not have to register. Email info@gsnypenn.org to express interest.
I’m a caregiver who would like to attend V3 with my Girl Scout. Do I have to be a registered member? toggle arrow
Any adult attending V3 must be a registered member. Visit gsnypenn.org/join or call our Customer Care team at 315.698.9400 for assistance.
Someone in my troop has food allergies or a sleeping accommodation. Where can I send that information? toggle arrow
Food allergies, sleeping accommodations and buddy requests can be made using our additional information form.
My troop would like to be grouped with another troop at V3. Who do I ask about this request? toggle arrow
Group or buddy requests can be made using our additional information form. We will try our best to meet these requests!
What should we pack for our V3 overnight? toggle arrow

A more detailed packing list will be sent to registrants closer to the event, but here are some things you should plan on:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow
    • If you don’t have a sleeping bag, you can bring a couple of blankets.
    • A twin air mattress is also an acceptable option, or a double/queen air mattress for those who plan to sleep double.
  • Personal hygiene products
    • Toothbrush and toothpaste
    • Comb, brush
  • Snacks and drinks
    • We will have food and drinks available. If there are specific snacks or special dietary concerns, you may bring items with you. Please be aware that food and drink consumption is limited to the cafeteria only.
  • SWAPS
  • Bathing suit and towel
What are SWAPS? toggle arrow
SWAPS stands for “Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere.” They are small tokens of friendship that Girl Scouts exchange with one another and uniquely reflect a fellow Girl Scout, troop or memory from a special event. SWAPS are a great way to share stories and get to know other Girl Scouts. Click here to learn more!
