Syracuse, N.Y. (February 13, 2024) — The Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways (GSNYPENN) Council invites communities across its footprint to celebrate National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, February 16-18, by visiting early booths to purchase cookies in person from local Girl Scouts.
Starting February 16, consumers can also purchase cookies for direct shipment using the Girl Scout Cookie® Finder. Program proceeds stay local to power life-changing experiences for Girl Scouts year-round including camp, travel, community service, higher awards and more.
National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend celebrates all Girl Scouts participating in the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls which builds courage, confidence and character through girl-led experiences. It also marks a time when America’s favorite cookies are widely available across the country with every purchase supporting local Girl Scouts.
Use the Cookie Finder to locate early booths this weekend. Approximately 100 are scheduled within the council’s footprint spanning 24 counties in N.Y. and two in Pa. Troops earned early cookies as an incentive during the 2023 Early Bird membership renewal and Treats, Reads & More fall product program. GSNYPENN’s cookie season runs through March 31 and cookies are priced at $6 per package. (Regular booth season runs March 1-31.)

NATIONAL GIRL SCOUT COOKIE WEEKEND 2024
The 2024 national Girl Scout Cookie season theme, Unbox the Future, aims to remove social barriers that often keep youth boxed in. As a result, Girl Scouts kickstart their limitless, barrier-breaking futures ‘outside the box’ by learning transferable life skills including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
